My Best Friend

Imagen
Maybe I will not achieve the objective of this task, but I really think that my best fiend is my sister. Her name is Rosario, and she is 20 years old. I remember when she came home with my mom, she looked very lovely with her wavy hair and her small hands.  However, I was very jealous, and at first I was unkind with her. I used to ran out or hide, because I didn´t like playing with her. Anyway, with time we were building a beautiful friendship.  I think that she is my best friend because she is the only person who has been by my side in every important moment of my life. When I became a mother, I had postpartum depression, and she went to my house  every day to visit me and my son. In that time , she was a teenager, and in a way I feel guilty for showing her this dark side of me.  We have a lot of memories together, some of them are funny, some of them not very much. One of the memories that I like to remember, a silly one, is when she fell off a chair in my back yard,  screaming to lo

My favorite festivity

Hi everyone, today I'll talk about my favorite festivity, wich is easter. As far as I know, this celebration has been born to commemorate the resurrection of Christ. It is celebrated between March 22th and April 25th, the exact date changes each year. After a quick search by the web, I found out that easter is related with Passover, a jewish festivity, and they're very close in their respective calendars. The origins of the celebration are linked to the commemoration of the jewish people's liberation too, in 1531 B.C.  However, I'm actually not interested in these facts, because I'm an atheist. The reason why I like this festivity are my childhood's memories of this season. In chile, easter means family time, when parents hide different kinds of chocolate eggs from their children, so kids have fun finding and eating them. In honor to these memories, I celebrate easter with my children every year, but I try to be careful with their sugar intake ja ja.

My favorite piece of technology

Hi everyone! Today I'll talk about my Game Boy Advance (GBA), which is a game console. This is my favorite piece of technology. It was a gift of my husband, but I can't remember the date he gave it to me.  I use my GBA to play different games such as pokemon, kirby, rayman, etc. A few years ago I used to play it very often, nevertheless, after the birth of my two sons this changed considerably. I really like it because it brings to me sweet memories of my childhood, when I would have more free time for myself. I think that life whitouth my GBA will be pretty much the same, but definitely more boring.

My career

When I was a kid I had lots of different ideas of what I wanted to be when growing up. I wanted to be an astronomer and law was also an option. I mostly liked careers related to science. But I always was a bit confused about it and I wasn't 100% sure of who I wanted to be. After graduating high school, I decided to study civil engineering. After a year, I realized I didn't like what I was doing because it wasn't really related to who I am and it wasn't compatible with my life goals, so I decided to drop and start studying something different. My two options were law and psychology, but I finally decided to stick with the second option.  I decided to study psychology because I feel it's closer to my personal process of healing and I could use it as a better tool to help others (even though right now, i'm not so sure about it). My experience until now has been difficult. It's been difficult to deal with mental illness, and university can be sometimes too much.

My Autobiography

Hi! I'm Francisca and today I'll talk a little about me. I'm 26 years old, and I was born in Talca on March 16th, 1994. I live in San Bernardo with my husband and my two sons, León y Salvador. We also have a kitten called Lisa. Also, I live with PTSD and OCD, both are mental illnesses.  Regarding my education, I have studied in seven different schools, and I can't remember the name of all of them. Currently, I'm studying psychology at Universidad de Chile.  At this time of quarantine, I've been buying and growing different varietys of plants, like begonias, ferns, cactus, ficus, calatheas, etc. This hobbie has helped me to go through the anxiety and of this times.
